POPI GETS IMPLEMENTED
POPI, a broad-ranging Data protection act, was passed over 2 years ago by Parliament in Cape Town; finally, now the act is being actively implemented by both regulators and businesses as of last week.
In this new environment, Jayson from Atvance joins us for his last recording where we will be chatting about POPI and, most importantly, its implementation. POPI is broadly aligned with new and also upcoming regulations from both the EU and from individual states within the USA, such as California.
